Information for other physicians
Thank you for your interest in the Gamma Knife of Spokane. We have been
in operation since June 2002 and have successfully treated hundreds of
patients since that time. This machine is a dedicated neuro-radiosurgery
tool that is designed to treat skull-based tumors and malformations with
unmatched precision. In fact, the Gamma Knife achieves sub-millimeter
accuracy.
We have a track record of successfully treating even the most difficult
and challenging tumors with this non-invasive procedure. Because of our
team's expertise and decades of radiation oncology and neurosurgical
experience, we welcome the opportunity to serve you and your patients with
this very effective technology.
If you are a neurosurgeon, our medical co-directors
John Demakas, MD and
Alex MacKay, MD welcome you to discuss your patients' needs with them at any
time. You can reach Dr. Demakas at (509) 220-0424 and Dr. MacKay at (509)
